The European Union commissioners have announced that an agreement has been reached to adopt English as the preferred language for European communications, rather than German, which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, the British government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a five-year phased plan for what will be known as EuroEnglish (Euro for short).

Governments will enkorage the removal of double letters, which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of silent "e"s in the languag is disgrasful, and they would go.
By the fourth year, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" by "z" and "w" by " v".

am geilsten is aber, dass die änderung:
im absatz eigentlich schon zu früh dran is...Governments will enkorage...
etwas was mehr oder minder auch hier reinpasst:

ich hab mich heute mit dem ding gespielt und ich schaff das ding einfach nicht (ich schaff eine fläche, aber mehr auch nicht).
auf jeden fall hab ich mich dann im netz wegen ein paar anleitungen umgesehn und hab herausgefunde, dass es weltmeisterschaften im speedcubung gibt (die erste war 1982).
es läuft so ab, dass ein computer den würfel irgendwie verdreht, dann darf sich der teilnehmer den würfel 15 sekunden lang ansehn, und dann wird gestartet, der offizielle weltrekord liegt so bei 12 sekunden!
es gibt eine recht aktive szene im speed cubing und es gibt noch immer weltmeisterschaften.
